While having my flywheel off, I counted the ,uhhh, copper wire wrappings on the stator of the altinator. I came up with 24. There are 8 magnets on the flywheel. With this being a battery/points/coil type ingnition, What would be the "pole" setting for a teleflex tach? At present, it is hooked to the white wire under the dash per the clymore and teleflex instructions. However, at wot I am only reading about 3200 rpm. The 45 is pushing my boat about 23-25 mph so I know the tach is wrong
