I am trying to hook up the throttle control cables to my 1968 105hp Chrysler outboard. The cables have been unhooked for a couple of years and I can't remember how they go. On the motor there are two clamps that it looks like each cable hooks to. However on the end of the cables there is a ball joint clamp. There is not a good place on the cable to clamp them to the throttle controls on the motor. Any ideas?
