Force lower unit help needed

I am trying to help out a family member with a 1995 (I believe) Force forty horse lower unit. Info on availability of "salvage" pieces or good on-line parts sources would be great. I do not have the unit in front of me right now but believe the case is in servicable shape. Thanks.

I have a 95 Force 40hp, also in need of a foot. This seems to be the week spot on this engine. It is made by Mercury and looks the same, but gear ratio and splines (flywheel) are not the same. Good luck finding parts, call every boat junk yards around.
