I have a 80 model mariner 115 hp that is difficult to start when cold, compression is 142 lbs. when cold, carbs have just been cleaned, plenty of batties , fuel pump is fine, I have even added and electric fuel pump. If I inject carb cleaner or wd 40 into the carbs it will start when cold. Once i start it it's ok and easy to start on its own ...what was the cure on these engines for cold starting?????????????
