have a chrysler 105 hp smoking very bad at low idle/ trolling, no smoke at all when i have it wide open

One of two things come to mind PUMPIT....fuel mix is a little high or the engine isn't coming up to operating temp. Feel the flat area on top just forward of the head while it's idling and see if it feels cool to the touch. If it does, may need a change out on the t-stat.

A 50:1 premix of gasoline to oil is recommended for all motor speeds up to the wide open throttle range for this motor. Therefore, it will have too much oil at slow trolling speeds and the motor will smoke. I wouldn't try using 100:1 premix if you were trolling as these motors were not designed for it, however, in theory this should curtail the smoke a bit.
