Has anyone ever experienced this? <br />I found the oil resitant fuel line going from my inline filter to the 2 cycle outboard engine had some sort of internal blistering or something. It got to the point that it almost choked off my fuel supply. What could cause this problem??? The line in question is just over one year old.

I have seen it before but not with one year old fuel line. The cheap fuel bulbs that come with the fuel line for 15 bucks is some really crappy fuel line. Take a sample of it to napa or any auto parts store and get some new fuel line and clamps. I would replace all the fuel line on the boat. Gas has lots of alcohal in it and causes rubber to break down and become stiff.

Re: Internal fuel line blistering choking off fuel

Thank-you eurolarva. I made a mistake on my first post. I said they were oil resitant lines, they are actually alchohol resitant lines. I think they forgot to resist the alchohol. I'm switching to traditional black fuel lines.
