Need help for a 1985, Force 85 Tachometer

I have been trying to research putting on a tachometer for this motor. The wire is listed and is PURPLE on the motor and I have read that some motors take a special 20 pole tachometer that is hard to find. here is the model number for my motor 856X5L and I would love to hear if there is a simple after market or brand of tach that will work with out major configuration issues. any help would be appreciated, thanks

any idea on where to find one and how much? any other brands than the teleflex? I was hoping for something white.

Dont bother with a teleflex special part get aFario here on I boats. Faria here on iBoats. The 7000 uninversal is compatible with a 20 pole alternator on the force. :D
