my new old boat

just inherited a 1965 mcculloch boat model 15 royal built by mcculloch of canada same as the chainsaw. boat is in great shape but missing seats<br />it has a35 hp johnson seahorse model J35ELCND <br />serial#C8L43679 and it runs good.<br />if anyone has any info or trivia about this boat i would appreciate it also i assume the motor is a 1979 but if i am wrong please correct me.

mc, if the motor has been sitting for a while without use, search in the johnson/evinrude forum for'awakeing a sleeping outboard' has everthing you need to know the get it back to top performance. it running good is a plus, but follow the steps. it will increase the life of yur engine.

In 1980, OMC went to a model numbering format that could be decoded.<br />Here ya go...<br /><br />
