Hi everyone,<br /> i'm looking to replace my motor. a local mechanic has a 1993 Johnso 115hp that he rebuilt from head to toe, including new wisco aluminum pistons and ***/trim. he's asking $2200. does this seem like a fair value? i want a reliable motor but can't afford much. let me know if anyone else has a good rebuild 115-130hp. <br />thanks,<br /> sea star
<br />both are for me but if the price is right its all for sale. the 225 will reside on a 18'hydrasports fish and ski and the 112 on a 19' seaswirl striper I just picked up with a locked up 1994 115.<br /> seems a lot of boaters will need motors down south this year.
