HI all,
I'm in the process of restoring a 15 foot trihull 1917-1973 SeaKing boat. It has a 55 SeaKing motor on it. I was told it was made by Chrysler (two stroke). I'm currious to know if an engine like this is work fixing. Are their parts available? Thanks.

Re: Chrysler SeaKing Motor

It depends on what needs fixxing.
I personally wouldn't put too much money into it.
Some boaters might, but not me.

Some/most parts are out there, it depends what you need.

Nightvision.
It has a 55 SeaKing
Is 55 the year or the horsepower? If the motor is a 1955 model, it is not a Chrysler. It is most likely a Gale motor and will be very similar to OMC products of the era. Great motors, parts are widely available. If it's a 55hp motor, what is the year? Those old Chryslers are pretty good motors and you can find most of the parts you need to fix her up. It depends what's wrong with it. Does it run?
