Water Seperator

I've tried the search function, but no luck, Is it ok to use a water seperator/filter on 2strokes that are premix? or will the filter basically pull the oil outta the gas. I've heard it will but just want a right answer<br /><br />Thanks <br /><br />RM

The filters remove water and particulates from either straight gas or premix. They will not remove oil from premix.<br /><br />In my opinion a water seperating filter is an absolute requirement for any fuel injected engine, 2 stroke or 4 stroke, and a very good idea on any engine.<br /><br />Moving to General Outboard<br /><br />Good luck. :)
