i was given a 1971 70 hp chrysler which i was able to get running in about 5 min. It has 150# compression in each cylinder and is very clean.
Other than extra care and maintenance required by these motors are there any problems common to these motors that may or may not be prevented?

Re: 1971 70 hp chrysler

the old chryslers are one of the most trouble free ,since they have less bells \whistles .
good clean gas and oil mix, change gear oil at the end of every season, and replace the waterpump every year. in cold climates it would not hurt to fog it. hope this helps bret

If you need further assistance please email me @ forcepower01@yahoo.com. thanks,Bret
