1991 force 90 what advance for 99 ron gas?

hello, greetings from sunny Scotland, im a newbie on here and ive got a question about timing on the engine i just got. what advance should i use when running all the time on shell optimax(99 ron)? how do i go about setting up the timing? also, does anyone have a picture of where the anode should go? i cant find it.<br />cheers in advance :p :D

I believe you would only have to retard the timing if you were using LOW RON rated fuel, to prevent predetonation.<br /><br />Your engine should run fine on factory timing settings. <br /><br />Your 99 ron is similar to out 91 octane.
