Idle Mixture Setting Question

Clymers 1 turn out from a slightly seated position, when I set this engine up 1989 125 the setting was 7 out top 5 out bottom, but the engine ran well, does this seem strange to any of the experts? I know have it at 3 - 2 and my acceleration is a little slow.

my guess would be on the low speed jets turn out to 8 turns even if you closed the jets down engine would still run I would think engine is running to rich with no low speed ajustment on low speed at all.My force engine was a 1994 120 hp and factory setting on low speed was 3/4 turn out I would try and see while engine is running try turning down the low speed jets and see if engine stall.
