I have a Chrysler 70 hp, Model 707HE, Serial: 6147 (not sure of the year) but it has points. I have tuned it up but do'nt have the manual yet and am looking for the Gap (manual is on the way).

The motor has Magna Power CDI ignition.
Point setting is .013-.015.
You may want to wait for manual before doing any trouble shooting of the ignition.

The information I have(Chilton's) says that your engine is a 1972 model. The point gap in the book is .013-.015 . It also says the spark plug is the Champion L-20v. As far as compression, all it says is that the cylinders should be within 15 lbs. of each other.
