I have an old 3 cylinder 2 stroke 75 hp chrysler and I'm looking to put a temperature gauge/reader on it any suggestions about what type, and where do you attach it to the motor

A water pressure guage would be easier- no sending unit location problems, and it will give immediate real time indication of water flow interuption. Just attach a hose to the water circulation system, then attach to the guage.

They have a thermoswitch on the head that operates a buzzer in the dash, could be orange or white with a single orange wire...but there is a sending unit and guage that works in place of that switch. I think it is an automotive product. You might check with auto parts stores and see what you can find. Also Teleflex makes and sell guages, you might check out their website...just a Thought
