I have just purchased a 1995 boat with a force 70 hp 3 cylinder motor is it supposed to have an air breather on it. The boat has not been out in two years, I am trying to get it ready and need to make sure it is not missing something vital. any feedback would be great.

I'm not sure what you're calling an "air breather". There's a piece that goes in front of the carburetors that's an air silencer. It just quietens the air flow into the carbs. The engine doesn't need it to run.

c/6

Hooty

The area in front of the carb is open on your motor. No cover, silencer, breather, air filter, etc.
