Whats a good inexpensive back up motor to have?

I just bought a 19 foot Bayliner Capri 1989 with a 125 force. What would be some options to have a back up in case the force goes dead in the water? I am good on maintenance on it but considering its reliability i dont trust it. I dont want to spend a lot of money on it just something that can get me safely to shore from the chesapeake bay.
