what do marinas and boatyards use to maintain or preserve their wood docks that are in the water? Espcially the wood that sits in and under the water.

How about the wood that's used, most docks I see don't look like pressure treated?
thanks

Coating Technologies

has a product that is supposed to be environmentally friendly, and seems to last. I have it on my dock in coastal Florida. It's over treated wood, and still looks good 3 years later.
