I have an 1988 Force 856x8a Serial 4066, The problem is getting the motor locked down. I have got the response from an e-mail and have located the switch on the front of the motor Thanks, but of course that did not work, I turned the lever to proper position and the motor is still not locked in reverse. Now what? 
The motor is on a houseboat so it is not something that can be taken out without great expense so I am hoping this is something I will be able to fix myself.
