update on 92 150hp force starter

Hi all well i fixed my slow starter prob today<br />I took the starter to work and tore it down.<br />Had the electricains meter the cam and it was good.then they cleaned the comm and sprayed a sealent in the lower half of the comm<br />They recomended i buy a brush kit which i did because one of the terminal rings on one of the brushes was burnt off.<br />reinstalled and fired it up<br />Strts like a new boat.

Glad to hear it starts right up, like I posted last time, mine did the same thing after the rebuild it lasted another year but if it starts to act up I would just replace it, 3 things to really watch and never be cheap on are 1, battery, 2)Starter replacement, 3)Impeller replacement, I learned the last from the bulletin board,
