I have a 1989 Force 80 Outboard on my Bayliner. For some reason this last weekend it died. It was running great one minute, the next minute it shut off. We could not get it re-started at the lake. We just put new plugs in today, wires look good, it is getting fuel, but when we pulled each plug out with the wire attached and grounded it to the engine while we turned it over, No Spark at all ?

Any ideas / tips / tricks on what to look for or how to troubleshoot ?

Thanks for any help !!

I wanna get back out on the water - it is too **** hot not to be out on the water.

Stan The Man
Sacramento, CA

Stan,You should have a ser. manual before working on your motor. Check the kill switch/ignition circuit
If it is shorted to ground or defective switches
would cause no spark.Switches need to be open to run closed to stop.
