I have a Force 125 88 model on a 88 model bayliner boat. The shaft is reffered to as an "extra long" shaft an I figure they mean a 25" shaft. The problem is I have stripped all the splines off the end of the drive shaft an I need someone I can purchase just the shaft thru. perferabley used because I don't have much in the boat currently but I certainly can not afford a new lower unit can anyone point me to a ratehr large boat graveyard that might be able to help me out? The person who currently has my lower unit has the gears to rebuild it he just doesn't have the proper drive shaft it's all he's lacking. please help an thanks...
