35 HP HAS A SCORED BOTTOM CYLINDER WALL HAVE BEEN TOLD BY BOAT DEALERS THAT THESE MOTORS ARE A THROWAWAY TYPE BOAT MOTOR AS IT CANNOT BE REPAIRED.ANYONE HAVE ANY INF. OR COMMONTS

throw it my way! I'll fix it. Don't know who you'er dealing with but sounds like they don't want to work on it. It's true that Force motors are no longer manufactured but you can still get parts for them from Mercurymarine website and aftermarket dealers. If all you need is a piston and bore, that motor might be worth saving. I did the work myself on my Force with similar problem for around 400$ including price of some specialty tools I had to buy.

Throw away? Force motors are actually easier to work on than other makes. I have an '87 that runs great. They are a little "finiky" but great motors, and WORTH fixing. Sounds like you found someone who may not want to fix it. Force parts dealers are sometimes hard to come by.
