4.5hp Ted Williams

I have a 4.5hp Ted Williams air cooled outboard. The engine is a Tecumesh. Does anyone know the proper gap for the spark plug? The engine also has a fitting for a remote tank in addition to the gas tank on the engine. Where may I find the proper fitting for a remote gas tank? Thanks

I can't help with the plug gap...I'm looking for that info myself...but I did find the fitting at a boating supply place. Midland Marine in Mountain Home, AR. They've got a website and will send the part to you.

Set the gap to .030 The original plug is a Champion J13Y This is discontinued. The new replacement is a Champion J14Y, or a J14YC.

Fuel Mixture is 24:1
