How do I remove pick-up tube on existing aerator?

My aerator pump is completely frozen. I'm replacing it with a new unit. They are both thru-hull models, Attwood A500's. I tried removing the existing pick-up tube, but the nut is plastic and was installed with marine sealant/adhesive. The nut keeps rounding on the corners and is being chewed up. I've tried a crescent wrench and a 1.5inch socket. Any suggestions removing this pick-up tube? Thanks.

Try cutting it off with a Dremel Tool. Worked for me.

Try a pipe wrench or as TD said. Could also drill out the center. Once you get it out clean up the hole and install the new one with some good sealer.

Thanks for the help. The Dremel did it. Cut a notch out of the nut, then used a flathead and a hammer to break the seal and drive the nut off.
