5hp Seaking water pump

I have a 1960 5hp Seaking M# GG8822A S#06X778204.I've got a water pump issue I'm trying to resolve.In the factory manual it calls for OMC 303442 pump housing and a 277181 impeller.The pump housing that was in the outboard has a part # of 323596 with a much smaller impeller,1.5"dia-11/16 thick.It looks to me as if the water pump assembly in the motor now was not original.If by chance it was I'm looking for a OMC # for the impeller that fits the 323596 housing.Thanks for any help you all can give.

Post this on the Ask A Member board at www.aomci.org. They will put you on the right track and probably tell you where you can get the parts right around the corner from your door, including Iboats.

Thanks tim for the advice.AOMCI told me that someone installed a water pump kit 391391 which included the 323596 housing.The impeller part # that fits that housing is 387361.Thanks again for the help.This site is now in my favorites.
