Hi all:

Got another question for ya:

I have a 1962 sea king (model # GG18744B)and am in need of some parts (throttle/steering arm, maybe others) and am wondering how easy it is to get parts for these. Anyone got the answer? If parts can be acquired, where from?

If I can't get parts, a friend of mine - who is looking for parts - has an old Evinrude and is wondering how compatible the parts are for these motors (older Evinrude (not sure what year) and 1962 sea king 40). Anyone have any idea how compatible these engines are?

Thanks in advance. Hope everyone is staying dry - rain constantly here for the last two weeks. :(

Re: parts for old sea king

Your motor was built by the Gale Devision of
OMC.Many parts will interchange with E/J but
not necessarily directly year to year.
You could check at the Antique Outboard Club
at: www.aomci.org or watch on Ebay, parts and
parts motors appear regularly.
