I have a '68 3.5hp Eska (sears) motor. I know the
mix is 16:1, but what kind of oil? 2 cycle?
thanks,
M.Y.

Ahoy, MellowYellow.

Air cooled 2 stroke engines usually run much higher temps than liquid cooled. For that reason TCW-3 oil is not the best for them.

I suggest a good brand of chainsaw or Weedeater oil.

Good luck. :)

But Pennzoil semi-synthetic run in most all ratios emits a smell not unlike an evening at the motocross races when run in aircooled garden tools at wide open throttle (WOT) conditions.
