I have a quick question about filling a T&T resevoir. Are they supposed to be filled to the fill plug when the motor is full tilted up, or are they supposed to be filled to the fill plug with them tilted all the way down? It seems to me the later isn't correct as it'd be almost impossible to get to the fill plug with the motor down. However I was told that if it was filled when tilted up, I would end up blowing the seals. Any advice?

Fill it when tilted up, cycle it a few times then check that it is still full. If not, top it off again.

Do this until it is full after cycling a few times.

Good luck. :)

Perfect, thanks JB! Heading out for an 11 day camping trip tomorrow (much needed holiday), and just want to make sure all my ducks are in a row :) They're only letting bigger boats on the lake where we're going due to the high water and flood potential so hopefully that doesn't take away from any fishing fun.
