2000 Yamaha F100 4-stroke. Is anyone familiar with the electrothermal valves on the above motor. Mine are leaking fuel on the stbd motor. My repair manual addresses the valves but not specifically a fuel leak. Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

remove and inspect them and change the orings, the service manual is just that, it cannot address every conceivable isse.
you see the leak the manual shows what parts are inside it.
its hard to belive the actual valve is leaking cause its way uphill from the fuel.

Re: Electrothermal Valve

Thanks rodbolt. You're right, it's not the actual valve that's leaking, it's actually dripping from the bottom of the valve housing. Hopefully replacement of the o-rings will be the cure. Thanks again for the quick reply.

Re: Electrothermal Valve

Looking at the exploded drawing in my manual, it appears that I can remove the valve housing and replace all the o-rings without disturbing the carbs. Thanks again.
