Lost one cylinder on my 70hp oil injected yammie last week while riding 4 footers on Texoma. Took about a hour to limp back to dock. Since last season I have added a fuel filter from the tank to a racor fuel/water seperator, replaced fuel pump(new), primer bulb(factory) and rebuilt carbs. I know from searching other posts that the problem I have is 99% most likely from the carbs. It may also be a fouled plug. With the updates I made to the fuel system I thought I could go longer than 6 months before another carb clean out. Is there something else I should look for while the carbs are off?

Make sure you replace the bowl gaskets when you clean the carbs. They can start to come apart and put you on a regular cleaning cycle.
