I am a novice boater. I am looking to purchase a 1972 Century Coronado that has been restored w/50 hours on the rebuilt engine. The owner is asking $15,000 - just trying to confirm if this price is appropriate over over/under

That doesn't seem outrageous but it ought to be absolutely perfect from top to bottom. Am I correct in assuming that this is the fiberglass one and not the woodie?

I poked around online and found a 1970 23' that was being sold for $12,999 with "very low hours". I found another one (1974) that was 21' and in good condition for $11k.

You didn't specify length or options. Hardtop layout? At one point, Century had a tunnel drive/inboard. Is that what you're buying? Is it an inboard/outboard???

Need more detail to help you.

Louie - Get it surveyed, get it surveyed, get it surveyed.

P.S. Require a water test.
