Question for Rodbolt

I have broken in my 25hp Yamy engine according to my manual (first 10 hrs) since I last saw you. Do you recommend bringing it back in for a gear oil change even after the number of times you already changed it as a result of the stripped drain plug? Is there anything else you would inspect as well after break in? Let me know. Thanks a lot!

cbsykes<br /> would not hurt to have it done. but its something you can do<br /> or maybe on a weekend we can hook up at my house or the kitty hawk ramp and ill show ya what to look for. biggest worry is water in the gearcase.<br /> thats why I reccomend to periodically crack the drain plug and see what comes out.<br />its not so critical I would say not to use it till it gets inspected for water. use it,enjoy it and some how beat this heat.
