This boat and motor is only 1 year old. I filled up the tank this winter and put stabalizer in. Had the battery charged before put in the water. The first time it started right up. The next trip started right up and ran for 2 hours perfectly. Next time it would crank but not fire. I am not an engine guy so I am hoping it is something simple. (lose wire?) (clogged fuel filter? don't even know where that is) The reason I bought a new boat is to not have these problems. Help! Any suggestions are appreciated.

Make sure the dead-man switch is in the Run position (fork in place?). That's the most frequent problem when dealing with an out-of-the-blue startiing problem. Also, make sure the battery connections are tight. Finger-tight on the wingnuts is not enough. Grab a pliers.
