This May seem like a stupid question, but I need to ask it, so here goes....I just purchased a 2005 90hp yamaha 2 stroke outboard. I also bought new controls (yamaha 703 side mount). The controls I bought has the 9 pin harness on it. DO I still need to purchase control cables for the throttle? Is this motor fully electronic/speed sensing? I am assuming I need to buy throttle/choke cables for it, or does the harness do all the sensing for me? Thanks guys for the patience with this "greenhorn". Ray

Re: do I need control cables???

yep ya still need shift and throttle. should be a 10 pin harness. <br /> the control box installation instructions have the method of cable attachment and the service manual has the engine attachment procedures.
