My boat is only a 14.5 ft runabout. I was thinking of putting a 9 gal. fuel tank up in front. Buy new 16 ft fuel line with connectors and bulb. Question-Will it work? The engine has standard Chrysler fuel pump.

I've seen it done on an alum. boat the size of yours. Worked nicely, freed up space in back too.

Thanks you guys, I also think it's going to help the plane of the boat.

This is a neat idea that I hadn't thought of. I have a 14' wooden boat with a covered bow that needs some weight in the front. I'll copy your idea and THANKS.

I've got that set up in a 15 foot Grumman Sportboat. Works great and really makes a difference in the boat speed and handling having that weight up front.
