Multi function tach&speedo compatability

I have been using the multifunction tach and multi speedo guages since '91 with my 200 2 stroke. I have just purchased a '04 F150. Will my old guages work on new engine. The tach does not have a 2 or 4 stroke selector switch on back of guage. What happens when I use a 2 stroke guage on a four stroke engine?

on modern guages the oil light flashes constantly.<br />the yamaha multi funtion guages are good but pricey. newer guages will give you more features. such as a built in hour meter and gps compatible.

the tach will function. the rest of the tach features wont work and the harness will require an adapter.<br /> the 05 harness is different from the 04 which is different from pre 95 models. the visual indicate wont work for the alarm system. go with the 05 stuff. its pricey but works well.
