hi there,
we have tested the stator, rectifyer and regulator. Outboard mechanics here will not tell me, ("bring it in we'll test it.")if the voltages we got are right so that we can identify the problem.
From the stator (3 blue wires) we got 40 volts A.C.
From the Rectifyer (1 red wire )we got 14.6 volts D.C.
From the regulator (1 Yellow wire)we are getting 9.5 volts D.C.
We couldn't distinguish what the CCC was. Is it possible that we call it something else? One mechanic said that the CDI was stuffed. What do you think? Would appreciate somwe ideas as not getting any help out here. You can email me direct on deankaryn@ts.co.nz
thanks
Dean
