I posted on 10-11-04 with an oil pump leaking on a 1999 Yamaha F100 four stroke and rowbards (member #45237) said this had been a warrany issue and to check with the dealer. I posted again on 10-12-04 with the same issue and benc (member #49777)told of a recall as well. I took it to the dealer with this info and yamaha will cover the parts.(aboout $400) I will pay the labor about $225.00. Very fair for a five year old motor.
