Have you heard of any Chinook runs yet. Is there any reports of any size being caught yet.

Got diverted to California over the weekend. Back home now and am going out on Friday night. Runs are picking up both on the Kenai Peninsula as well as in the Susitna Valley...

Deshka was slow today. Saw maybe a dozen taken out.<br /><br />But I caught one of em :D <br /><br />Water levels are high, but relatively clear. Willow Creek is flowing at 9.5, 10.0 is considered flood stage. Again, clear enough to fish, you just need A LOT of weight to get down to em.<br /><br />AK Chappy

Thanks Chappy, In addition to some fishing, we are going to be beginning to clear our cabin site while we are there for the weekend. A king for the barbie would be a bonus.
