25hp suzuki hard to start

I am thinking of buying a 25hp used suzuki motor<br />but motor is very difficult to rope start no electric starter.Is this normal?<br /> Thanks Ron

no, not normal 4 stroke or older 2 stroke?<br />have him fix it first or figure repair cost into purchase price and fix it yourself.

mine is hard to start too. try ether. someone will bash me for saying that, but nothing i have done so far helps as much. And who cares about it i am only using it till i find an OMC to take it's place.
