I want to paint the very faded engine covers on my 2000 Yamaha F100 4-strokes. Is there a way to determine if they are painted Yamaha Metallic Blue Silver or Yamaha Dark Blue Metallic.Thanks

Your dealer should have the codes for each portion of the engine. Have the model number if you go in. Color Rite is the company that supplys the paint. http://www.colorrite.com/ My dealer helped me out with some paint, my rig is a 2001 and it showed in the part book as 2002. They just brought out a bunch of cans and we sampled on scrap paper till we found it.
