I have just bought this boat, I don't know what make or year it is, it has a yamaha 40hp 2 stroke 2 cyl engine that has been resprayed and I can't find an engine no. I've looked everywhere I can think of, it appears to be 6 volt out and I want to connect it up to charge a 12 volt battery, and also try and locate a suitable starter motor as it has been removed, then all I need to do is work out the wireing arrangements.<br />either it is very old or I have any in incorrect reading. I have been looking around the forum but everything relates to volts is 12v
