Default the hole in a yamaha 115 2002 4 cycle
Stand on the starboard side [or right hand standing behind the motor] look at the back of the prop.look up, about 1 1/2" above the anti caviation plate there is a 1/4" hole, what is this for?? There must be some one that knows!!!

Those are usually cavity drains. One of many places where your typical outboards drain.
