Correct WOT RPM 200 HP Yamaha 1993 (Correction 1996)

What is the correct WOT RPM for a set of Yamaha Saltwater series 200 Hp? I think they are 1993. This weekend I noticed that WOT we were only turning 5,100 with a ¼ tank of gas and 4 adults, clean bottom, 28foot Pursuit <br /><br />Mac<br /><br />CORRECTION: Engines are 1996 Saltwater Series II

Ideal to me is about 5800. Overall performance and fuel economy seems to work best in that range. Many people seem to overprop. It just works the engines harder. Factory says around 5500.

Should be the same as far as RPM's. Seems to hold true for all Yamaha V-6's.

I agree with Ray! I always prop slighty above the factory range. V12 mac may need to go down a few pitches!
