It will be the third season for my F150 and the manual suggests changing the impeller as routine maintenance. I hear from some that changing the impeller isn't really a big deal and was wondering if this schematic from yamaha is making things more complicated than I can expect. http://www.yamaha-motor.com/outboard/parts/home.aspx Finally, If I do have the dealer replace it, what can I expect as far as a fair cost?

while its not hard I suggest the factory service manual. if you decide to do it get the pump kit and a new retaing coller and locking ring.from there I can type ya through it. takes 45 min on a good day and an hour and fifeteen if arther is visiting.
