1999 200 hp Yamaha trim gauge

Just wondering what colour wire is the trim <br />sender wire for the trim gauge? Are they all the same for Yamaha?

well<br /> some are 2 wire and some are three wire. the basic colors are pink. orange and black. good luck and keep posting

Thanks for the reply rodbolt.<br />It uses a three wire trim sender.What I want to know is on the back of trim gauge in the dash board of the boat is what colour wire is the trim sender wire. Evninrude/Johnson I believe is white/tan wire to the trim gauge.

hello<br /> ok now ya have to tell me what your trying to do. is this a yammi gauge or what. the other makes of gauges dont work well with yammis. a yammi three wire sender is actually a voltage pick off type sender. it has a 5 volt reference on the orange lead. and the pink lead is attached to a wiper.<br /> tell me what your trying to do and Ill see if I can help
