Re: smoke

hello
the major choke issue usally is due to a clogged carb. can be due to a faulty fuel pump and a low fuel level in the fuel bowl. the other causes are mechanical due to loss of crankcase sealing or excessive piston to wall clearence. the major smoke can be clogged carb or due to an excessivly rich mix cause ya just choked it with a rag. my advice would be to test the compression. test the spark. it should be able to jump a 13mm gap with a bright blue snapping spark. if both pass the test then remove and rebuild the carb. I think the fuel pump on yours is intragal with the carb, howerver the carb kit does not contain the required gaskets and diaphrams to repair the fuel pump.remember to make sure to order the fuel pump pieces as well.
good luck and keep posting.
remember cold 2 strokes just smoke.
