Has any body have drawings or photos that will show the linkage for the Yamaha 55EL choke or similar. Not the electric solenoid but the link between the throttle butterflies and the choke butterfy shafts, are the two interconnected in some way or is there a seperate linkage system,(external) kind regards William Wright,

Both the throttle butterflies and the choke buuerflies are linked to each other by a seperate linkage. There is no link between the throttle butterfly and the choke butterfly. They are independent of each other.

Ray thank you very much for the reply,I found the "MISSING LINK" this particular motor has a manual choke as well as a electrically opperated choke and the linkage/lever was missing, fortunately I was able to locate one of the choke levers and all seems okay,thank you very much for your help,I just do not understand why there is a electric chake as well as a manual choke, beats me, kind regards William Wright
